Q: How can we setup a time to meet?
Meetings are generally scheduled on weekday afternoons and evenings either in person or via Skype. Our office is based out of our home in Baltimore; feel free to e-mail us at: hello@merklephotography.com to schedule a time to meet!
Q: How many weddings do you book per year?
We limit the number of weddings we shoot each month so that we can provide our clients with superior, personalized service. For the 2012 and 2013 wedding seasons we will be booking 20 weddings.
Q: What is your style?
As you can tell from our gallery, we take an eclectic approach that mixes photojournalistic candids with modern posing.
Q: Do you carry backup equipment? Do you have liability insurance?
Yes and yes, We carry enough equipment to shoot several weddings simultaneously and carry full insurance.
Q: What type of equipment do you use?
We shoot with the latest Canon professional-series bodies and lenses to deliver the highest-quality images.
Q: Do you charge extra for travel?
There are no travel fees for locations within 50 miles of Baltimore, MD. Engagements outside of this range may carry a surcharge (inquire for further details).
Q: When do you schedule engagement shoots?
For best lighting, engagement and family sessions are scheduled on weekday mornings and evenings.
Q: How soon after the wedding can we expect to see our photos?
By limiting the number of weddings we shoot, we can also provide our clients with an unparalleled turn-around time. We typically will have blog images online within a day of the wedding and proofs within 1-2 weeks.
Q: How many pictures will we receive from our wedding?
This varies and largely depends on the length of the event, but we usually deliver at least 500 images.
Q: Will we receive ALL of the photos you've taken from our event?
You receive all unique images, but not any duplicates or test shots.
Q: Can I print my photos/use them on facebook?
Yes! The images do not feature any watermarks.
Q. How long have you been in business?
We started our business in 2008, and started shooting weddings full time in 2010.
